Vague terminology in
describing postindustrial society economy as ‘knowledge economy’ has been
researched. Approaches to definition of the concepts ‘knowledge economy’ and
‘knowledge based economy’ have been investigated. Major characteristics of the
concept ‘knowledge economy’ have been defined.
