INNOVATIVE ASPECTS IN THE FORMATION OF
A NEW MODEL OF REGIONAL GOVERNMENT IN UKRAINE
Introduction. Ukrainian
economy is now in the process of serious
transformations. In many ways, the
problem of formation of Ukrainian
economy is associated with inefficient use of scientific and technological potential, human
capital, material and non-material resources, professional culture and other constituents.
Innovative aspects and their
implementation in the management processes
of formation of a new model of regional governance in Ukraine have significant impact on
the effectiveness of social and economic
development. Aims and Objectives. Identifying innovative aspects in the formation of a new model of state and regional government.
Methods. Dialectical method, system analysis, method
of theoretical and logical
generalization. Results. The scientific basis for introduction of
innovative components in the formation of a new model of regional governance in
Ukraine, namely, the development of innovative strategies and policies of
regional and local authorities. Use of research and recommendations in development
and implementation of regional innovation strategy and application of
innovative infrastructure tools provide opportunities to actively adapt positive
world experience and provide opportunities for creation of the vision of the
general orientation of regional governance. Conclusions. It is proposed to establish a system of
tools and priority levers of influence on the processes supporting innovation at
all levels of the state and regional
authorities by strengthening the
innovative aspects of the system activities
and instruments to form a new model
of regional governance in Ukraine.
