PERSPECTIVES OF DEVELOPMENT OF INNOVATIVE ACTIVITY OF MACHINE-BUILDING ENTERPRISES OF UKRAINE IN CONDITIONS OF KNOWLEDGE ECONOMY

Background: Realization of the key role of machine-building enterprises in providing modernization of national economy predetermines the necessity of further research into the progress of innovative activity of domestic machine-building enterprises in conditions of economy of knowledge. Aims and Objectives: Research on perspectives of development of innovative activity of machine-building enterprises of Ukraine in conditions of economy of knowledge. Results: The analysis of statistical data has been carried out in relation to innovative activity of domestic machine-building enterprises, the results of which revealed the presence of numerous problems, related to the innovative development. The key role of innovative labour of man in providing competitiveness of an enterprise has been shown. Conclusion: The main factor for the development of innovative activity of enterprises in conditions of economy of knowledge is man, motivated for acquisition, permanent updating and distribution of knowledge through his innovative labour.
